Contact Al Golden, a CLOD who is also a very knowledgeable broker. His company can be found at http://www.imis.pro

I second these folks. They seem to know cruising. After a discussion with their underwriter, the gave me some latitude with their rules about crew requirements as I am a singlehander. I did not have any claims in the couple years I was cruising in Central America, so I guess they made a good decision to insure me for single handing and extended offshore work. But I had no flexibility with the other folks. I had considered going uninsured and they offered me a good deal. So---although I had no claim--I have a good deal of respect for these folks.
