As a Soleus lover, the one thing I CAN think of I don't like is that with a power failure, it does not restart.
no worries! after all, power failures only occur during storms.

yeah, that's the problem with my Soleus as well. but it makes up for it by being quiet when it runs.

I've never used a dehumidifier on our boat we just keep a couple of fans running and open it up pretty often...and that's at the slip in Puerto Rico. However, we have a small one in our walk in closet in our home in Puerto Rico. I can't remember the brand, but it's a Peltier device with a fan to circulate the air. Got it from these guys: Humidity Control | Dehumidifier - Humidifier - Humidistat & Hygrometer They have good prices but shipping to PR was a pain!!
