Let's assume that the point of cruising is to see as many cool places as possible. That said, many countries and places within countries, aren't really ideal for going to because they are expensive, or unsafe for boaters, or have onerous rules and
regulations, or no good harbors, are land locked, etc.
That said, there are many places that are good to
cruise in. Safe, good
anchorages you could leave your
boat and explore, economical
marinas, friendly people, and also would make a logical hub to stay at and visit the surrounding countries.
For instance, someone may say
Malaysia would be a good place to stop, and use it as a hub for visiting places like
Vietnam and other places in SE
Asia.
For those who know, what places would you recommend as good hub locations for different places around the world?
hub -
Caribbean
Middle East
South SE
Asia
Black Sea
Mediterranean for visiting
Europe
Central America
South America
South Pacific
Southern
Africa
Northern
Africa
Asia (china, Russia)
Japan
Southern Asia (India, Bangladesh)
