Fiji Charter

Hi,

Looking to charter a boat in Fiji for 4-8 days from April 4th-April16th.

2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 8).



I sailed around the world 2011-2013 on a Catana 48, before kids, and we spent a couple months in Fiji. While we sailed we did occasionally "charter" to some mutual friends and people we met to make some extra cash. Looking to do the same now, just on the other end of things.

Basically we want to snorkel and explore fiji again.
We can do bareboat, but when people asked me to bareboat charter my boat, I said it would be more since i wasn't there to take care of it I like to help out cruisers too as it helped us when we were sailing around the world.



We are pretty easy going Canadians with lots of experience to help if needed. Tried to find companies in Fiji but there are not many.

It’s very difficult to get a bareboat charter in Fiji as the waters are tricky with lots of reefs.

I did a quick search for charter yachts (with Skipper/crew) and, while there are a few, they’re REALLY expensive!

Yes, that is the same conclusion I drew.

I don't remember the sailing there being too tricky, but after the Tuamotu's, Aitutaki, and beverage reef, Fiji seemed ok.



So hoping to find a cruiser that would like to take a well experienced sailing Family.
