Did you read where the OP was located???

Dumping waste in the Georgian Bay would be illegal, immoral and asinine.

Never mind all the health implications of doing something so stupid.

Umm, where did I say to pump it overboard!? Consider it a ship to ship transfer. Besides, how serious do you think I was being anyhow, give your head a shake. Now you'll have to excuse me, but I have to get back to the lab to finish my micro-Exocet design work.

And, what's wrong with a bit of music?

We have a sailboat and are not ready to be party-poopers yet, lol.... so we did upgrade the stereo to have all the loud music we like (really messes with other sailboat folks...lol). We anchor where no one else is, and play some music -- and if others come and anchor beside us, well, they could hear the music when they came. If we go into an anchorage and there are other boats there already, we do not blast music.
Either way we don't blast it until the wee hours, but we do like to enjoy our time too.

I think the "first come" at the anchorage applies to space or anchoring not the overly excessive loud music unitl 2:30 am.

The bottome line is I don't believe they would have behaved this way in their homes and neighbourhoods so I don't understand why the anchorage should be any different. As stated we moved the next morning to another anchorage nearby however after some time now and looking back I wish I had gone over to them in the morning and voiced my opinion using strong language. It would at least given me some satisfaction.

Re: Noisy Neighbours

Instead of pumping out..
Be sure to be up wind & then blow air into the tank.
Maybe below the slurry level to agitate it well.
Then vent the tank airspace directly in their direction.

Better to wait until there is movement on their deck first.
I am sure the hang over crew will be on the rail doing the "chunda" hurl & shake.

I would wait until their was a decent audience.
Then emerge, admit and willingly accept credit for such a release you had been holding all night.
