Canadian Wildfires

Have the Canadian wildfires affected cruising in the northern Great Lakes? I'm thinking in particular of Georgian Bay and the North Channel. Is smoke visible on certain days? Have they impacted the air quality?

Thanks for any first-hand accounts you can provide.
