Selling mainsail, boom, boom vang, antal track, sailbag

I have a 2010 L46 with a Quantum square top mainsail. I am converting to an in-boom furling main and would like to sell the old mainsail, boom, Forespar boom vang, antal track and sliders and the sailbag with lazy-jacks. The mainsail was sent to Ullman for reconditioning (before I decided to go to in-boom) and they said this would cost $300. Pics of the sailbag attached. I am happy to add pics of the boom, vang, track and sliders if desired.
Make me an offer for any or all of it.

thanks
Pat

I'm not sure how much response you will get without sail dimensions and boom dimensions, even I would be interested to know :-) thanks

Re: Selling mainsail, boom, boom vang, antal track, sailbag

Thanks for all the interest.
- The boom is spoken for.
- The vang (Forespar) is available, $100. I will measure it tomorrow and post better pics.
- The mainsail luff: 52.5, foot: 20.83 (leech is being measured and will be posted in a day or two). It is a Quantum squaretop. $200
- The sailbag, $100, rolls up to about 4 ft long, 2 ft diameter but has 2 long battens (about 17 ft).
- More info about the antal track and sliders, $50, tomorrow.
- More pics tomorrow (vang, antal sliders, antal track)

All are in San Diego. You will need to pay for shipping in addition to the price.

Re: Selling mainsail, boom, boom vang, antal track, sailbag

Regarding the vang:

Here is a link to a set of pics:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/azZoJySFff35t9k88
(I will add a better full length pic later today)

It is 80.5 inches long and 2.5 inches in diameter.

Made by Sparcraft (I was wrong earlier when I said Forespar)

$100 plus shipping.

Re: Selling mainsail, boom, boom vang, antal track, sailbag

The mainsail dimensions:
Luff: 52.3 ft
Leech: 53.2 ft
Foot: 21 ft

This is a Quantum squaretop sail with 5 battens and 2 reef points. It is 10 years old. I took it to Ullman Sails (who reconditioned my 3 headsails) and they said it would cost $300 to replace some weathered webbing at the head and clew and reinforce some stitching.

One issue with this sail: Because it is a squaretop, the top batten is at an angle of about 35 degrees. This means that the top won't lay flat to allow the sailbag to be closed. To lay it flat, you must disconnect the headboard from the top slider. Reconnecting can be difficult. I can do it but I was planning to change to something like the Doyle Anomally Headboard (https://www.doylesails.com/other/sai...maly-headboard)
which is not cheap. My rigger did come up with a less expensive alternative, but that was still around $2k. Or you can just live with the current system. It worked well enough for the previous owner.

Re: Selling mainsail, boom, boom vang, antal track, sailbag

The antal track:
There are 5 sections that are 10 ft long and one section about 4 ft long.

There is also a photo of the headboard slider. The other sliders are at Ullman Sails with the mainsail but I can get them if you want them.

I'd prefer finding someone who wants the mainsail and the track/sliders since they all work as a system, but if I can't, I will let them go separately.
