For those who wonder...


I have a Beach LT. I can set it up in 10 minutes, it paddles quite well (better than some hard kayaks), and only weighs half what a hard kayak does. I've used it a few dozen times and it doesn't show any wear. I also have a high pressure inflatable and 3 hard kayaks, and I still have use for it (very transportable).


I would not bang rocks with it, but I have used it to back and forth from an anchored boat on open water, which it does very well, as well as exploring miles of wetlands.
