This is a Jordan Series drogue built by Ace Sailmakers in East Lyme, CT and is custom designed for a sailboat up to 48’ weighing about 30,000 pounds loaded. This drogue has never been used and is stored in its own canvas bag. It has 132 cones on 287’ rode, made up of 127’ of ¾” New England Ropes double braid polyester attached to 160’ of ½” New England Ropes double braid polyester. Each of the two bridle legs is 36’ of 7/16” New England Ropes Endura Braid (12-strand Dyneema® core, with marine-tech coating and a 24-carrier braided polyester cover) with 5/8” thimbles on the boat end. Each bridle leg has 10’ of Chafe Pro starting 36” from the boat-end thimbles.
