Six items to make the adventure safer and more
interesting.
Mexico Boating Guide - by Pat and John Rains. The bible for all things important. Photos and detailed drawings of approaches and harbors. Services available, points of interest,
history, and more. Used and in good condition.
Charlies Charts West Coast of Mexico - Even more detailed information on harbors and
anchorages. Contains info not found on standard
navigation and electronic
charts. This is a must if traveling the Coast. Used and in good condition.
Complete Guide to Harbors, anchorages, and Marinas, So Cal edition This is an older edition that we found to have some information that the two above did not have. Used and in good condition, the cover is slightly stained.
Sailing Directions, West Coast of Mexico and Central America PUB 153 - from the National Imagery and Mapping Agency. This has information for the big ships. A bit technical but it tells you what to expect in busier harbor and
shipping areas. Used and in good condition.
Mexico Field Guides - One is for reef
fish identification, the other for Sea and Shore Birds. Printed in color, both sides, heavy laminated in excellent condition. We kept these in the
cockpit and enjoyed identifying anything we could spot.
