BRONZE OPENING PORTHOLES

BRONZE PORTHOLES - a pair of opening portholes with backing plates

Partially refinished to show bronze.
Opening area 9” x 5”
Overall width 12-1/4”
Overall height 8"
Overall depth 2-1/2”
Flange depth 1-1/8”
Weight each approx 10-1/2 lbs.

One with screen (needs new screening), the other with screen support only.
Fully functional with good glass and (2) replacement glass 3/8” thick.

It’s reported that these came from a tugboat. Given the thick coats of white, dark green and tugboat red paint on them that would seem to be accurate.

Pictures show exactly what you get. Be aware one wing nut has only one wing and not two. Otherwise these only need cleaning (paint removed) along with new gaskets (gasket material is inexpensive and simple to install) to be fully operational
.
$400/pair plus shipping
