BowThruster (New) for 35-55' Self-installation!

Yacht Thruster (ExTurn) Model 300S for boats 35’-55’ https://www.yachtthruster.com/simplex-thruster/
The only owner-installed bow thruster on the market. Suitable for powerboats, or sailboats.
Model 300S with 207 FtLb/3kw of thrust, (24volts) with joystick controls for one or two helm stations.
-easy installation with common tools- drill just 3 small holes. No fiberglassing required!
-1/2the price of a tunnel type thruster, since you can install it
-no loss of interior space since it is mostly outside the boat. Less interference with tanks etc. Less drag and speed
loss than a tunnel thruster
-quieter and cooler because it’s underwater, no cavitation because it is deeper than tunnels.
-includes controls and wiring harnesses for up to 2 stations.
I bought this at the Seattle Boat show last year, but the bow of my trawler is too steep to install it. Never been installed, and still has the original packaging. Includes the 2 required metric drill bits, and the recommended Sikaflex caulking. Warrantee card has not been sent in yet, so you get the full original warrantee. You will need to provide the batteries and charger setup, but wiring harnesses are included for 1 or 2 control stations.

YachtThruster/SidePower EX95s/Exturn /Sliepner are all the exact same product, with different labels.
All original paperwork and manufacturer provided materials included. If you don’t want to pay a yard $6-10K in labor alone to install a bow thruster, you can install this one yourself in as little as one day.

Price at West Marine is $8,449, so this is an awesome price, https://www.westmarine.com/buy/imtra...ster--17192816

Not that I am in any way interested but I am not seeing a price. Someone who might be interested would likely want to know what your awesome price is.

Sorry everyone-just forgot that when I posted it
$5,500, plus I can ship it in the US for whatever the actual cost is.

For some reason, it is not letting me edit my ad.

Re: BowThruster (New) for 35-55' Self-installation!

Installation in 1 day is optimistic. I installed mine several years ago. You will most probably have to glass a small platform to the underside of the hull to have a good flat surface for the installation. Waiting for the curing of the polyester is at least another day on top of the "simple drilling holes" day.

Another caveat is the tightening of the big nut that goes around the main tube going upwards into the boat. If I remember correctly it is 80mm. Go find a wrench in that size! I only found something expensive in a tool catalog for refinery installations!
