i have an older monitor windvane for sale. it would need mounting kit and new vanes, ropes etc but other than that its all good. located in australia, canberra region. have kept it in the shed for years but think the bluewater boat isnt coming. sell to best offer. thanks

Hi Just rovin, do you have any more photos? What is the history of the vane and is it only missing the wind vane or is the water vane missing?

Yes thats right water vane still there but I can not find the wind vanes. I'll post some better photos. It was used on a 47 foot boat which saiedl from England to Pacific and finally sold here in Australia. It's in good used condition and was taken off to make the stern less cluttered as it was only sailed in the Harbour. Spent the last 15 years in the shed. So it really needs to find someone who could use it.

Every Monitor windvane is serialized. You can contact Scanmar here https://www.scanmarinternational.com...r-windvance-hp and they will be happy to tell you the year of manufacture and known history.
