Astra IIIB Sextant + Sight Reduction Tables
Astra IIIB Sextant with the traditional half silvered mirror. Used less than 5 times. The case is missing one of the rubber feet on the back but other than that everything is in great condition. Includes a davis artificial horizon used to practice taking sights when not at sea, "Sight reduction tables for air navigation" pub. no 249 Volumes 2 and 3 covering latitudes 0-40 and 39-89 as well as a copy of "practical celestial navigation" by Susan Howell. Paid over $750 total. $375 + shipping from NY at actual cost.

FYI, one can buy the same rubber "feet" for the base of the storage box at most Home Depot or Lowes stores for very little cost.

If any one is still interested I just listed it for sale on ebay for convenience as I am tired of all of the back and forth PMs and flakes (admittedly some of that was my fault; sorry) I upped the price to "buy it now" $400 + actual shipping costs to compensate for ebays commission https://www.ebay.com/itm/26346088773...84.m1558.l2649
