Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

I received my order. The soft shackles look great. I’m taking them to the boat this weekend. Thanks for the quick delivery.

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

Thanks John for the feedback!!

Everyone, I had a user ask for LFR with soft shackles and double LFR. If you are looking for anything like that, I can do that too. For the shackle/LFR - I left the tail longer and whipped so if the user wants to melt it, they can. The knot will also be moved lower toward the ring, and the lost length will be moved to thr eye side.

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

I am working with 1/2 and 3/4, now!

I am working on an 1/2 8' mooring pendant for a forum member who purchased some loops and shackles from me. I follow the fid requirements, tapering, and lock stitching per Samson instructions for Class II splicing. Cost much less than New England Ropes Cyclone Mooring Pendant. I will post pictures once I have completed!

I also have 1/8 diameter in black available. I am working with an individual requesting large quantities of 1/8 shackles so I have a full spool.

Pic shows a finished 3/4. Thing is huge! I post on expeditionportal.com forum and asked if people are interested in 3/4" and a previous buyer said he uses the heck out of my 7/16 and is interested in 3/4!

Nylon protective sleeve also available for 7/16. I bought some to test out but this batch, the thickness is acceptable but not as good as my previous. I will include with 7/16 free of charge. In the pic, the red is using the not as good, and the blue is using the better one.

Bump in case people are looking. Prices are slightly higher. I've also made 100s more since, so my worksmanship has reached a higher level.
