Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

Hi,

I am selling handmade Amsteel Blue soft shackles. I make these in my free time as a hobby. I am not commercial, I do not own a business.

7/64 soft shackles with button knot. Located in Msachuseets.
Cost per pair is $8. The diameter is 2"

Also have all colors shown in pic. Can make larger shackles as well. PM for more information on other products such as dog bones, continous loops, or any other Amsteel Blue product you would like .

Soft shackles
7/64 - 2" diameter $8 (pair)
7/64 - 4" diameter $9 (pair)

Continous loops
7/64 - 8" diameter $8 (pair)

I can ship in in large evenvelope without tracking for $2. I will have receipts to show shipped. Or $4.25 with tracking. Up to you.

Thanks for your support!

I am keen on a bunch of 2" and 4" soft shackles. Are you cool to ship to Australia at my expense? I will PM you.

Oh my, wasn't expecting it to be THIS popular! I gotta get to work!!!

AUSSIE - yup, I can certainly ship to you. I will get price on shipping of what you requested.

Everyone else, I am working on it. Going to have to setup an excel spreadsheet for better tracking!

Kayak chuck - I'm getting extra tough skin growing on parts of my finger! Hahaha.

Everyone who has PMed me I will definitely get your orders ready.

Here are (4) 3/16 at 4" diameter I finished for one user! Need to order more 3/16 now! If people want 3/16, let me know what color you'd like.

Thanks everyone!!!
Alvin

Google search is your friend for this. I input “soft shackle uses” for lots of examples.

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

I do not sail but I still like to have some laying around, such as on my water bottle, backpack, and as a keyring.

When I travel, I attach several on the backpack loop. I use one to attach shoes as I only use a carryon. Never know when you will need one.

I strap my water bottle to the rack on my dirtbike. It gets bumpy off-road so I use it as a failsafe in case the bottle slips out of the bungees. I also have one on the handlebar with some extra cordage in my pack as a tow strap setup for anyone who needs a tow out of the woods or a bump start. It has come in handy twice with success!

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

3 paid, shipped out 2 today. Waiting on one to respond with address.

Checked shipping to Australia. Costs start at $20usd but USPS has a restriction to ship there. Hmmm.

I fulfilled an ebay user's request for 10 smaller than 2" and 10 more 2" after show how impressed he was! Here are my results if anyone is interested. The smallest one does not have a center bury. It has 2 criss-crosses - each end goes through each other for a small adjustable eye that JUST slips over the knot. I rather like these.

Anything under 2" is $7/pair

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

I have pricing for 3/16 and 3 variations to choose from:

V1 - traditional bury with milking to close eye
V2 - no bury with crossover on eye side. Eye opens enough only for the knot
V3 - mix of both. Bury with crossover on eye that open enough only for the knot

Shipping= $4.60 since it cannot fit in flat envelope parameters.
(2) 4" = $22
(2) 8" = $25

I have blue, black, and grey

Thanks

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

Thanks guys for the positive feedback! I've been expanding my lineup and now include 5/16 and 7/16! I have changed my non bury style that some like as well. I posted a picture of a non bury 2 strand but that is not correct.see the attached pic of the grey one.

I also upgraded my loops with a full bury and S type lock stitching for a smooth finish.

Relisting the prices
(1) 8" 7/16 is $31 + $6 shipping

(2) 5/16 price
3" = $22
4" = $23
6" = $25
8" = $27
10" = $29
And so on
Shipping $5

(2) 3/16
3" = $19
4" = $20
6"= $22
8" = $24
10" = $26
And so on
Shipping $5

(2) 7/64
1" and less = $7.25
2" = $8
3" = $8.50
4" = $9
5" = $9.50
6" = $10
7" = $10.50
8" = $11
9" = $11.50
10" = $12
And so on.
Shipping is the same, $1.60 w/out track or $4.60 with. So far all the $1.60 shippers have made it to their destination.

(2) Loops 7/64
8" = $8
10" = $8.50
12" = $9
14" = $9.50
16" = $10
And so on.
Shipping same as 7/64 soft shackle pricing.

(2) Loops 3/16
8" = $28
10" = $29
12" = $30
14" = $31
And so on. These prices may drop so if you are interested let me know and I'll drop the price a little.
Shipping $5

Also include a sticker for each order!!!
If you plan to order a large quantity, I will give you a good discount.

Re: Amsteel Blue soft shackles 7/64

"Have you considered creating an Etsy page to sell these?" - I was about to ask you...

...and then I googled "Amstel blue shackles Etsy" and Lo and Behold - pretty sure this is you "ChanMadeGear", right?

Yup, that's me

Nice to avoid Etsy fees but also nice to get feedback rating on there so I like to mix it up.
