I have a three year old Kogan 22 inch tv with DVD. I would NOT recommend it to my worst enemy. Aside from the truly hopeless ergonomics (very, very slow to respond to the
remote control, takes three or four seconds to change to the next channel, takes around 30 seconds to switch on) and utterly terrible sound, the really big problem for me has been the process of finding an encoding format that it will support for playing back media files from the flash drive. This may sound trivial but I got heartily sick of carrying DVDs down to the
boat and wanted to keep copies on board on a flash drive. I sorted it out eventually using hours of trial and error but the Kogan tech support could not help because they had no access to any kind of historical tech data for the tv. This is because Kogan just puts their brand on random devices. The encoding it does support is not H264 as stated on the Kogan site but only mpeg2 with a badly restricted frame rate and very low bandwidth audio. When the rotten thing dies I will pay the extra
money and buy a better brand replacement.
Sorry for the rant but I think people should be aware of the hidden downsides of these sorts of manufacturers.
