Dish Network Outdoors Question

For anyone using the Dish Outdoors program I have a question. The programming service is provided in 30 day segments. Can one activate in the middle of the month and have the service expire in the middle of the next month.

Communication with Dish has been frustrating. Long telephone wait times and automated responses to questions via chat. Has anyone used their "app" to communicate, and if so, where do you obtain the "app"?
