Clearance Form needed from previous country to enter Turks and Caicos?

I've got a short question. Do I need a "clearance form" (clear out form) from a previous country to enter Turks and Caicos?

Yep, I did and unless I've missed something, I can't seem to find any comment on the Noonsite about my question. I've also checked the
tourism website of TCI and nothing.

I don't like suprises presented by an official of a foreign country so here my question:

Does anybody know if I need a clearance form from the last country to enter the Turks and Caicos Islands?

No - you merely declare your last port of call on the Report of Arrival form.

How about Dominican republic, Noonsite says they want it, but I will be coming from PR and I hear US do not give out cleareance?

We went through some trouble to get a clearance in TC but in the DR nobody looked at it. Waste of time and money! in my case to get it.

Every country I have dealt with has been flexible with regard to the need for a zarpe. They all have known, for example, that the USA doesn't routinely issue zarpes, so not having one has never been an issue.

On the other hand if you are coming from a country where clearing out is a legal requirement and you don't have one, they will certainly be asking you "Why not?" and if you don't have a good answer, expect more considerably more pointed questions.

For countries that do routinely issue zarpes, but where they are not required to leave (e.g., Bahamas) I always get one if I am going on to anyplace other than the USA. If I am leaving the USA, I don't bother with the hassle of getting one even though it is theoretically possible.

For us, getting clearance documents out of TCI has never been a problem.

They will, but you have to go there and ask for it.
Likely you will have to explain why you want it.
