What's Involved in a Major Refit

There's no where on the site (as far as I have discovered) to post a short slideshow - but if you're curious to see what can be involved in the major refit of a small boat, please visit YouTube:

"Kuan Yin's" refit was to prepare her for a 5000-mile voyage from Toronto to Ungava Bay, in northern Canada. So far, she's reached Newfoundland.

Next summer (2011) I'll be retracing the voyage in 1811 of an Inuit sea captain who took his family and two missionaries along the coast of Labrador into Ungava Bay.

For more info, please see my weblog:

That is really impressive, and so well put together.
I'll be watching your adventure unfold with great interest.
