Water Base LPU

Hey
My name is Ed, I've been lurking around here for a couple years - working on a boat. I've got a question for anybody that knows more about paint than me-that's everybody.
Has anyone used the System Three LPU? I've read the manufacurer's liturature, but would like someone who has used it to tell me if it is any good.
I'm thinking of using it on the deck and possibly the hull.

Is there an effective LPU that doesn't just about kill you if you do not use a positive pressure painters mask?

According to the literature you can drink it - no not really, but it does reduce with water, and there appears to be no VOC. The question is. Is it effective.

I have and am using it on my boat restoration project. It sprays very nicely, and when cured is extremely hard. I am using their pigmented coats and their clear coats as well.

I recently used System three on my boat building project. I sprayed the shower stall and the refer/freezer boxes. The primer is very nice to work with and goes on well with a roller(I never attempted spraying the primer}.
Don't wait too long to sand the primer as it gets very hard!

I tried the roll and tip method with the lpu and never got the hang of it. The application variables such as air temp, humidity and user experience make it an educational experience for sure. I don't think this is unique to this particular product. I have experience spraying pre-cat lacquers and this was more challenging, especially trying to apply it to these small, confined areas. As with anything practice is the key.

I would use this product again and feel the water based feature is huge.
