Propane sniffer alarm sounds

When I’m running the engine the boat wet cell golf cart battery’s are being charged at bulk 14.4 volts and it seems enough hydrogen gas fumes are emitted to alarm the Xantex S-2A alarm sensor. It’s rather annoying and I’d like to get some input from others.

Relocate it.

Actively vent the enclosed space.

Or rig a timed temporary off button - I would not rely on my memory to turn the sensor back on
