Polishing

Hi, we have a Fontaine Pajot 43 foot Berlize
Her gelcoat condition has deteriorated and we need to cut back and polish her.
I have had recommendations that 3M products are pretty good.
The top of the cabin (ie under the mainsail) has had lots of bird poop and we have had to vigorously clean and the paint feels quite dry and a little chalky.
One guy has told me not to polish these areas as there is deck grip.
However how do we keep this area in good condition without polishing.
I know safety and walking on these areas were his main concern
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks Teresa

Re: Polishing

You may have to use a little cleaner/compound to get the turds off. For non-skid finish with Woody Wax. I have been very happy with it. Looks great and isn't slippery.
