Paint removing !? HELP

Window tint is generally applied to the interior. If you’ve seen it applied to the exterior you can usually see how poorly it goes on and stays on.

Unfortunately anything stronger than alcohol or a plastic scrapper will damage the plexi, you're probably going to have to replace them. If you can afford it, change them for tinted toughened glass.

If he did even a halfway proper job at painting them, there is probably some kind of chemical bonding going on. Even if you could magic the paint away you would still fin damaged plexi underneath.

You could try a headlight renewal kit. One that uses fine grade wet & dry, and abrasive pastes that may remove the paint as well as polish the plexi..

If you do damage the plastic removing the paint you could conceal it with one way vision film. It is what we use on the big windows on Lagoon cats and looks good from the outside and can see out clearly fro inside

You could also buff away the damage to almost new, working your way up from fine grit paper to a super-fine buffing compound.

You might try one of the citrus based hand cleaner/brush cleaners. I once used it to clean up some paint spatters on an acrylic hatch top. I put it on the spatters with a small brush, thick. Then turned a bowl upside down as a cover for a few hours. It washed off with water, taking the paint with it. No effect on the acrylic. But try a little inconspicuous spot first.
