Perkins 500/Prima engines may also be listed as: Perkins-Sabre m50, m60, and/or m80T. I’ve heard (but cannot confirm) the M50 is the same basic engine as the Volvo MD22.
PERKINS GROUP OF COMPANIES (SABRE) Prima M50 37 kW , M60 44 kW
Perkins Sabre Marine Diesel Engines
Let us know what you find ...

GordMay - This info is too important to lose. These manuals have already helped me a lot. I propose that a place on the website be set specifically for shop manuals. Anything posted to be reviewed by the administartors and placed in its own catagory. This resource is too important to remain in a thread.

That would be awesome. I spent a month googling to put together a decent set of systems manuals together for my boat.
Couple of concerns would be copywrite violations, which should be surmountable by posting links to manuals and never the manuals. However, then the links go bad and you'd need a way to police the dead and dying links in order not to create a digital landfill.

I thought that THIS was that place.
I too, am concerned* with the copyright issue.
* But, to my discredit, not concerned enough to avoid the issue entirely.
