Moisture Content of Wood Floor?

What is the Moisture Content of the Wood in your boat in the Caribbean?
I'm not sure if I've picked the right location (where I'll end up the longest), but let say the Caribbean for now.

What I'm thinking.
I'm going to install Maple Hardwood (Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum)) strip flooring for my Sole. If I was installing it in my house I would likely be looking for a moisture content of less than 15%.
Now installing it in a boat, I'm thinking it should be higher when I install it as that is where it is going to want to get to throughout its installed life.
I believe that solid wood is for the most part dimensionally stable once it has reach 30% MC but I'm wondering what the MC is of established boats.
I just don't know what that is.

I redid the sole and cabinetry of the interior of our boat while we were in Nova Scotio with Cherry, moisture content of 15-19%.
I do not know what its current moisture content but nothing has moved, swollen or jammed after 10 years in the western Caribbean.
