Lock stitch dyneema lifelines?

Hi all,
I was just wondering if it is necessary to lock stitch dyneema life lines that have been spliced with a locking or mobius brummel lock? Thanks!

Re: Lock stitch dyneema lifelines?

I did mine with a Brummel.

Oh--- don't make the mistake I made on one of mine segments. After making 2 BEAUTIFUL Brummels, sweet taper on the end of the bury. Only to remember that I did not add the chafe protection sleeves. Had to tear one out and redo the splice....

If you add a chafe sleeve at the stanchions, that is a good spot to do a wraps with a lock stitch.
