Fein teak hook

Well it works amazing for removing old caulk! I wish it was a little less brittle. Time to check for a warrenty. Click image for larger version

Re: Fein teak hook

Is it used to route out old, dried up caulking? And if so, how? And if that's not it's purpose, then what does it do?

Re: Fein teak hook

It does a decent job of removing old caulk. I have used them and have never had one break. It is used with a Fein Multimaster. Of course it is still a lot of work prepping the seam sides for new caulk.

Yup, it does a pretty good job of scraping out most of the old caulk without ripping apart the teak(mostly). I think I'm a little slow.. this area took me about 4 hours
