Charlie Morgan 38 '70 Cutlass bearing replace

Has anyone done one of these? Do they have set screws?

Also interested in types of cutlass bearings. Is bronze/rubber still the best choice?

Re: Charlie Morgan 38 '70 Cutlass bearing replace

Exalto in the UK is a major maker of cutlass bearings. There are descriptions of the various types and their uses on the website. Generally speaking for yacht-sized non-metal stern tubes, bronze/rubber is the best material
