Catalina Smile

Guys I know there are many post about this issues. But what I am asking ,as a new bee, if I need to do anything based on the pictures.
Please share your reviews if I need to grind and apply
3M 5200 Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant. Or just go ahead and start the painting work.
thanks

Re: Catalina Smile

I can't tell from the pics...is there an actual gap or have you just sanded to expose where the joint is?

Re: Catalina Smile

no. there is no actual gap. but the crack was visible before I have sanded. I will apply epoxy and sand it before painting on my next task.

Re: Catalina Smile

From my experience of owning a couple of Catalina 27's that joint looks pretty good. I think your plan should be fine. The keel bolts look good on the inside ? If so, then I definitely think you are good to go.
