Best Stainless Steel Fabricator on Florida East Coast

Guys,

We need some custom stainless steel work done and I am having a lot of trouble finding a really great stainless fabricator in north-eastern florida. Apparently just about everyone that does stainless in St. Augustine is out of business leaving mostly hacks and hobbyists. We are perfectly willing to drive to get some stainless done if it means getting it done right.

Specifically, we need a custom stainless ladder made. We also want to get a new bow pulpit fabricated (nudged a piling).

A true artist. He did the modifications and improvements on our bow cage and fabricated a cantilever roller for our anchor system:

Use the thumbnails to examine the process and the end result. You can ignore (other than curiosity) #3&4... #1 was a quick and dirty repair by Cabo in 2009, but the metal was rotten, so we attended to it with Walt in 2012ish...

Just a few weeks ago had a new Pulpit fabricated for my Irwin43. From Florida East Coast quotes around $5500 from West Coast $700, so obviously mine came from West Coast. Supplier ~:

You might also consider chainplatesexpress.com. They do pulpits as well as chain plates. I had them make plates for me, and they did good work at a reasonable price.

Try Air Conditioning Duct Fabricators, Water-jet cutters, Restaurant Supply and Fabricators. I had some stainless work done at a Metal Design company who specialized in water-jet cutting/sign fabrication. They were reasonable did the cutting, bending and welding and were reasonable. they also gave me the scraps and fall-off that was left over.

I also recommend Ingemar who is next to Tiger Point Marina at Fernandina.
He continued to reflect on the difficulties I had and made useful suggestions,
Only problem is he's always busy but I think that's also a positive.
