Best places for boat work in/near Greece?

I’m looking at buying a sailboat in Corfu Greece and would like to make some upgrades on it to set up for long distance cruising such as:
- Stainless steel solar arch, panels, charger etc
- Install water maker

Does anyone have any suggestions for best/cheapest place for solar & water maker install?

Keen to consider things like cost, ease of delivery, VAT/Import Taxes, expertise to consult on electrical setup etc

No experts on Greek harbours here …?

What I can share as indirect and limited experience of friends: They had a necessary and urgent repair, which required a lift and went to Kos Marina. Quite some infrastructure there, with a crane. However, for a special part for replacement the only solution was to order it in a smith shop in Athens, which took them 3 weeks waiting on the hard. Thus, I would recommend to look for a larger Marina around Piräus or Attika, if you have serious work to do.

I guess, Patras would work, too.

Thanks! I’ll take a look at those. I’ve heard good things about Malta too so also looking at moving it out of Greece first.
