Yanmar 3YM30 - where to connect to a hot water tank

I am not quite sure exactly where to disconnect the coolant hose loop on my Yanmar 3YM30 engine in order to heat my new hot water tank.

I have read through the engine's manual, but fail to find exact relevant info where to find and make an external coolant liquid loop. Could someone give necessary info?

In order to make the engine's external loop as short as possible, I intend to have a separate but thermally connected loop with a passive heat exchanger of the kind used in domestic gas boiler systems and in some RVs.

Bothe the outlet from the engine and the return are in front of the engine next to the small diesel filter. I can take a picture of mine if you want ?

Thanks,

yes please if you could send a picture as I am still not 100% certain.

There seem to be 2 hose loops, one small before/after a pump and one larger after/before the pump.

I assume it is the larger loop. I am as well uncertain about the flow direction.
