Westerbeke 55A

Iv read a 1996 westerbeke 55A is a
Mitsubishi block . Anyone know which mitsu engine model it is?
I’m looking for Cheaper valve train parts.

I have a westerbeke 8.0 generator with a Mitsubishi K3D 3 cylinder diesel. I found a parts book online and was able to order parts from a tractor dealer in Mississippi. Good luck on finding out what the base engine model is.
