IMHO, I would be to not only pull that one, but pull all of them, have them all tested and cleaned, then put it all back together with brand new washers. Do a
compression check on all Cylinders and adjust your valve clearances. Whatever is causing it to smoke now when it didn't before is not going to get better by itself and more than likely worse. If all that is good, then have them check the IP timing again.
My opinion is you probably dodged a bullet with a ungoverned runaway, but you should take the time now to make sure it is all right.
