Volvo Penta D2-55 Oil Pan Torque Specs

Does anyone know the torque pattern and specification for the oil pan bolts on a Volvo Penta D2-55 engine?

Re: Volvo Penta D2-55 Oil Pan Torque Specs

You May never find that answer and if not I’d go with standard torque for that size faster and a criss cross pattern.
The torque is likely to be lower than you May realize, do you have a 30 to 150 inch lb torque wrench?

If no recommended torque can be found, I’d use the grade A recommended torque as an oil pan doesn’t need to be tightened much, there is no stress on it.

* The tightening torque given is the final tightening torque.
The cylinder head is to be tightened in three steps in the correct tightening sequence, see tightening diagram.
Oil the threads of the cylinder head bolts with clean oil.
On our D2-40 they say 11Nm (8.1 lbft), so pretty similar.
