volvo penta 2002

VIC here from Vancouver B.C. area

NOT even close to being mariner..just a project guy

Just purchased volvo penta 2002...FL 6221
with the KGMS2B drive... possible project

was missing only ALT and exhaust down flange

found that the splines are compromise at approx 50% ....have seen ALL the fixes

bought it on the spot ($300.00) with "no investigation" and quickly found
parts and such will quickly start climbing and NO one apparently likes these lil beasts...

so just looking to part out or sell to someone for my cost..
if its even worth that...a lot posts say its a good anchor

any direction or assistance appreciated

just hate to throw it in the bin if someone can use something
