Recommendations for Fuel Polishing service in Tampa Bay area?

I'm in the process of replacing my old worn out Westerbeke with a never (2007) Beta 28. I'm considering having my fuel tank cleaned before I get on my way. Does anyone have advise or recommendations for a fuel polishing company that could come to my dock and clean and polish my tank? Any idea on the cost? I have a 40 gallon tank with about 30 gallons remaining. The fuel is probably 8 years old and I have a Racor filter system in place. Thanks,
Frank

Re: Recommendations for Fuel Polishing service in Tampa Bay area?

Frank,
I did that about 4 years ago and Snead Island Boat works in Palmetto, Fl. The guy was very thorough and had the necessary fittings to get the corners on each side of the baffles. You might try calling Gary at Snead Island 941 722-2400, I just can't remember the guys name. He had a very sophisticated circulation equipment on a dolly and rolled it right up to the boat. Cost was about 40% of fresh fuel.
