Ford Lehman question

Has anyone here seen or owned a Ford Lehman with a CAV DPA rotary injector pump rather than the usual Simms Minimec in-line injector pump. I needed some fuel system info recently and was surprised to see in a service manual that some engines were fitted with the DPA pump ....... in my whole life I’ve never seen this despite having worked on these engines quite often.

Lehman 4d61 engine was a Peugeot/Indenor based 61 hp four cylinder with CAV rotary pump. Same base engine as the V.P. MD21.

As I recall the Peugeot base engine was the XDP4.90.

Thanks for that Doug, I should have been a bit clearer with the question, I meant the specifically the 80hp and maybe the 120hp Ford engines.

Replaced the original pump with a Whalbro FRG-9 electric and could not be happier + it’s a snap to bleed. FL-120. Have put 1500 hours on it since the changeover. Cars run 250k miles with electric pumps why not boats?
