4JH3E Transmission Compatibility Help

I have a Yanmar 4JH3E (European) that needs a marine transmission. In my quest to find and procure the correct gear, I have come across volumes of erroneous/conflicting information regarding "compatible" Kanzaki gears.

I currently have access to a Kanzaki KM35P transmission. However, some specification tables indicate this is a compatible gear; whereas, others indicate that the 4JH3E requires a KM35P-4 transmission. I'm unsure as to whether the "-4" indicates some type of adapter plate or another condition.

If someone here can advise me as to which Kanzaki parallel transmissions are indeed compatible with a 4JH3E; or, provide me with a link to a definitive source of credible information related to Kanzaki and Yanmar compatibilities, I would be most appreciative!
