St Francis 48 vs 50

Hi... I am looking at older St Francis 50s and have also seen 48s.. does anyone know the difference? (Apart from 2ft!!) Any knowledgeable comments.

The interior living space will be the same. They did more than added two foot to the stern though. The molds were completely reworked so the two feet was faired all the way forward to the keels. So a lot more flotation in the stern. In other words they totally reworked it. Perhaps the 50 has more bridge deck clearance but I do not know that for a fact. Both great boats but you want the 50 if you can swing it for performance.
