I just registered mine in Canada, just but knowing the gross/net tonnage wasn't enough, it had to be measured by a surveyor and documented "officially".
FWIW my gross tonnage measured out to 10.86 and net tonnage to 10.32.

Thanks, that's a big help. I haven't fully investigated what I need to do. If I have to register the boat in my state also I may not bother with documentation.
One nice thing about USCG Documentation, when you have it, you do not need to register or deal with your state registrations.
You might try to inquire with John Marples. I would be surprised if every USCG documented Searunner had to be measured. It would seem there is a number from the designer.
