Searunner 37 Net Tonnage

I'm thinking of documenting my Searunner 37. Does anyone know the net tonnage?

I just registered mine in Canada, just but knowing the gross/net tonnage wasn't enough, it had to be measured by a surveyor and documented "officially".

FWIW my gross tonnage measured out to 10.86 and net tonnage to 10.32.

Thanks, that's a big help. I haven't fully investigated what I need to do. If I have to register the boat in my state also I may not bother with documentation.

One nice thing about USCG Documentation, when you have it, you do not need to register or deal with your state registrations.

You might try to inquire with John Marples. I would be surprised if every USCG documented Searunner had to be measured. It would seem there is a number from the designer.

In Florida, you need to register with the state even if your documented. You get a anual sticker but no numbers.

Do you know what the laws are in Rhode Island? That is where I will be taking the boat.
