Yep but my point being that the 60fter could possibly be done as a powered coastal cruiser, forget about winches , sails, rigging = all the expensive stuff.

Sure, lots of room for solar panels and easily driven hulls for a electric conversion too.

I skipped the expensive stuff with the Wharram rig but for a modest cruiser there is plenty of used conventional masts and sails out there.

Btw. I have training as a professional boatwright.

Appendages are there, you need a rig with sails & the deck hardware and of course some laminate, paint and electronics.

The Lombardini engine looks salvageable, it was high above the waterline when she was flipped.

If you go cheap on the electronics and focus on the other stuff and buy used were you can, I'd say 150 000-200 000€ approx for a low cost refit if you do the work yourself and don't count your hours in.
I am not talking of a professional refit to race condition.

Absolutely certain no were near to the "millions" you mentioned.

If you contract a shipyard and buy everything new it's of course a totally different ballgame.
But if you are into the everything new type of stuff you buy a new boat anyway.
And then,a Sponsor, for your new racing career
Pipe dream!
IMHO

I did find this couple who did something similar with a 40' ex-racer trimaran: https://trimaranspirit.weebly.com/

It did have a rig when they bought it though.
