Haul out in Florida or Georgia. Yard allowing Owner to work on boat

Hello: Please let me know of any boatyards located within Florida or Georgia that allow a catamaran owner to pain the bottom and wax the hulls. Thanks

Watch the depth at that one. Ran over a rock at high tide in the channel last year. 4.5ft depth.

Here’s the list of catamaran haul out marinas: https://torrmundi.blogspot.com/p/wid...ities.html?m=1. Don’t have knowledge of other ones that let you do your own paint though.

That is an excellent resource if it's correct (and I have NO reason to think it is not correct). Thanks for sharing it.

Re: Haul out in Florida or Georgia. Yard allowing Owner to work on boat

I'm a member of Port Canaveral Yacht Club but I live in Indian Harbour Beach, so I decided to haul out and DIY at Anchorage near Eau Gallie FL, so it was an easy walk or drive. Very convenient.

Prices and policies were very reasonable. The service was top notch and the staff was helpful with a few questions from a novice. In fact they mixed up a small batch of barrier coat so that I didn't have to buy a full kit.

I had initially considered Cape Marina next to the club at the Port, but they wanted $1M liability insurance and that was a hassle to try to arrange, and they clearly wanted to rush me in and out.

I've also been to Westland in Titusville, but have not done any DIY there although I hear good things.
