Catalac 9M rudder

Any one knows when Catalac moved from a transom hung rudder



to a skeg hung rudder?

My guess is you have a Catalac 900..
The original Catalac 9m had shaft drive whereas your example has the saildrive introduced in 1993 when the original design was reworked by John Winterbottom.. I presume the rudder setup changed at the same time.
Also, many of the 900's were sold for home completion.

This is not my boat but is up for sale as a 1985
Another Catalac 9m is sold as 1987 and has a transom hung rudder. So I got confused. model hence my question.
