Cat Cruising in Miami

Hi...I am a newbie so be gentle with me. My wife & I have been reading the boards. Before we knew this was so popular we decided to spend our retirement crusing the east coast & the Bahamas. To test the waters out we want to go on a 24hr cruise while on vacation in Miami. Can anyone recommend a charter company with Cats?
We want to cruise on a cat that is between 35 - 40 ft. This is because we plan to buy a cat in this size range. Or if someone in the Miami are does not mind giving us the grand tour of their cat that would be great to.

Thanks!!

I live just north of Miami. While I'd be hesitant to recommend any charter companies because I've never used one, you can contact me any time you like when down here. Let me know what kind of Cat you're looking for. I know a few people that might help you out to see a few. I have an older 38' Cat I'm in the process of finishing to get ready for extended criusing. You could always poke around her. But people have varied tastes and wants so you'd probably want to see a few and charter a few as well.

Thank you!

Thanks. What we are trying to do is see some of the smaller cats. We know we won't be able to afford anything over 40' and also fron what I have been reading anything over that would be too hard for just the two of us to handle. My thinking was since we will be on vacation anyway I might as well charter a similar cat, see her & also have a good time in the process. We will hit you up when we know exact dates.

check out PDQ36

The PDQ36 might suit your plans. If you go to the web site www.pdq36.com you will find a listing of charter options.

Vacation Schedule?

FutureSail,

We have a Fountain-Pajot Tobago 35, that we sail out of Ft. Lauderdale. We cruise to Miami often for weekends. When are you planning to vacation. We would love to show you "Bee Zoo" and perhaps take you out for a sail.
