A new supplier local that can do this is

You also might work with Rapido in Vietnam. They have a supplier for their trimarans and may be willing to sell a rig only. Given the vessel location it would be really easy to pop over to Vietnam and have them install it for you.

Now that a certain person we will not name is no longer at Tasker in Phuket you might also give them a shout. Although most of what I remember on their inventory was all profiles in Al.

Call also Boat Lagoon in Phuket. The rigger who works out of the shop there likely has a line to a big used carbon fiber mast.

Of these options I gave you, my favorite is to pop on a plane go meet the team at Rapido and tell them you want one of their rigs. Likely they will say yes if you are there in person and likely they will say no if you just send them an email.

The mast from the Rapido 40 is the right one for your vessel. https://rapidotrimarans.com/rapido-40

Based on Southern Spars making the mast for the 60 it is logical they make the carbon mast for the 40 too.

It is slightly taller than what you asked for. Just ask the sails to be made to suit your vessel.
I have talked a lot with PK at Rapido. Seriously considered a 40, still think its the best trimaran out there. It had crossed my mind to ask him. I have a had quotes from most of the main stream builders and they are quoting about 150k + or - a little. One company of repute has come at less than 50% ! How can there be such a huge price difference. Looking at a Rapido 40 , $600k aprox the mast component must less than 100k. It stinks of the usual marine industry's unhealthy attitude to most sailers who are not rich.

Re: Carbon mast for trimaran

It is essential for all cruisers with limited kitties to be resourceful and creative. The Proctor mast aboard my vessel was a cast off from a big cat that converted into a motor cat. I picked it up for a song compared to a new mast.

That is why I steered you first toward looking around yards for something bigger that can be cut down to size.

This ad reads right, however, the price is way too high. I recommend a fair price is closer to $25,000 USD for this particular 25 meter carbon fiber mast.

Are you looking for the key components to fit-out a 45’ to 65’ yacht? We have the following available. All items recently removed from a high-performance racing yacht: Walk on the Wildside.

I think I may have found a picture of the mast on the web. It appears someone may have rescued it from this vessel that reportedly was written off.

This 60 foot carbon fiber mast is priced at $7500 and priced about $5000 too high.

I am not really saying this one, however, it does intrigue me to have a free standing mast. Further, yes, it is possible to ship it to SE Asia on the top rack as they say and modify it. Picking up a boom is pretty dang easy.

This one is complete the right size but wrong material.

Remember before sailing down to Australia if you pickup this 25 meter mast to have all paperwork about your bottom paint in order. Also review vessel carefully for termites.
