Buyer's Broker

Can anyone recommend a good buyer's broker to help us buy our first used sailing catamaran?

I'm based out of South Florida and there are a myriad of brokers to choose from. I'm leery about brokers and therefore mainly interested in a buyer's broker who would have my family and my best interest at heart. Would anyone in this Forum be able to recommend someone? Thank you!

We've been pleased with Don Wigston Home - Windcraft - Corsair Trimarans and Other Fine Multihulls

edit: Don is a Corsair dealer but has helped us with big boat purchase

Re: Buyer's Broker

We bought our boat from Tommy Smith, Sail Away Catamarans, and although he was actually the listing agent for the boat we bought, we felt like he took SUPER good care of us, and was a guy with high integrity. He is extremely knowledgeable and always treated us like his most important customers, even when we were just starting our search and had never even set foot on a catamaran. After the purchase was complete, he spent several hours with us on the boat, finding seacocks, tracing systems, helping us move the boat for the first time, etc. He is located in Annapolis - but hey, you wanted an excuse to go to the boat show anyway, didn't you? - Good luck in your search.
