Re: Best affordable option to haul out and store a catamaran near st augustine
My boat was stored at St Augustine Marine for nearly a year while awaiting sale. They were reasonable cost and arranged both mechanical and cosmetic work very well. A while ago now so things could have changed but definitely worth a look.

Is your boat a catamaran or mono hull?

Fairly quick, if kept light, but a lower bridgedeck clearance catamaran. Nice South African lines. For example: https://www.svsoggypaws.com/workshop.htm

Our beam is around 24 ft, I think the St augustine
Marine center is around &1000 per month storage.

St augustine marine center was bought last year by a group called monument and run by oasis marine services. Their haulout is $30 per ft and storage is $24 per ft per month. I’m guessing it went up, Any other marinas recommended near the mid coast of eastern Florida?

Try Holland Marine. https://hollandmarine.net/ I believe they could haul our 25’ beam but would have to pull the mast first.

Harbortown Marina in Ft Pierce, no idea on costs, but they have a decent sized yard and allow DIY.

The prices are now $24 per month for dry storage, $600 for straps, and $32 for haul and you need to pay a month in advance.

It's honestly hard to find out about this as they don't answer the phone and their website just has pretty photos but no rates, do you remember how much they charged per ft?

I only did a short haul there for a survey. The first day I called I had a really hard time reaching anyone there. I just started taking any option to get a human and found out the service person was out that day. He called me early the next morning.

Re: Best affordable option to haul out and store a catamaran near st augustine
Avoid SAMC. I got out of there last november after having the boat there for a couple years of refit. Tone deaf management is not local. They were refusing to provide ladders and requiring escorts to your boat as of January. They turned off the gate clickers on a friday the weekend before I was launching in November after saying they wouldn't do until Jan 1 in email sent just a few days before.
They could offer me free storage for a year and I still wouldn't go back there.

Re: Best affordable option to haul out and store a catamaran near st augustine
Just as an FYI, St Augustine Marine Center does not allow any access after 3:30 pm nor any access on the weekend by brokers.
If a broker uses your access card, St Augustine will deactivate your access card without notification (the prospective buyer will simply be standing there at the gate with your broker and that's one lost sale).
They also don't allow any work on the weekend or after 3:30 pm by contractors.
As a boat owner for over 26 years I've never seen a marina have those restrictions, and every haulout I've done has required work during the weekends and often during the evenings.
