Re: water going into engine

Not sure what your water passages are, but doing some work on my universal 5411 and the water in my cylinders appears to be either from a cracked manifold or a bad gasket.

Is it syphoning into the exhaust manifold? Does it happen when the seacock is closed?

Don't know what an air cut off system is.

But don't try to start the engine yet if you haven't already.

Find someone who knows engines to take look. Might be able to spot your install mistake easily.

Re: water going into engine

In my experience it's always harder to put things back together than take them apart!
Not sure where your coolant leak is. If your seacock has been closed the entire time, and it's coolant coming out, it's somewhere in your heat exchanger line. Your engine manual should have a diagram of the passage of this fluid. Take a look at the picture and see if you can figure it out or post it here.
